Khulna road accident claims two lives

KHULNA, Feb 04 (BSS): Two youths were killed in a road accident near Noapara Petrol Pump area under Tala upazila on the Chuknagar-Satkhira Highway Sunday noon.

The deceased were identified as Mirazul Islam Bappy, 40, son of late Zahan Sheikh, resident of Sonadanga Thana area in the city and Ataul Haque, 40, son of Ahmed Ali Gazi, hailing from Kalabogi village under Dakop upazila in Khulna.

B M Emdadul Haque, OC of Chuknagar Highway Police Outpost, said the accident occurred at around 1.10 pm when a Khulna bound passengers' bus collided head-on with a motorcycle, leaving two motorcycle riders dead on the spot.
