Lightning strike claims one life in Khulna

KHULNA, June 12 (UNB): A man was killed when a thunderbolt struck him at Bakhar Beel in Dumuria upazila on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Anis Sheikh, 36.

Locals said that Anis was struck by the thunderbolt while he was working at his fish enclosure in the area around 9:20 am.

He died on the spot.
