Madaripur road accident kills two bikers

MADARIPUR, Oct 22 (BSS): Two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured as their motorcycle hit a passengers' shed on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Shibchar upazila here on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Partha Shil, 20, and Ayon Mondol, 20. They were the students at Elias Ahmed Chowdhury College in Shibchar upazila.

When they were heading towards home from the college riding on the motorcycle, the accident occurred at around 1:30 pm at Bandorkhola, said Officer-in-Charge of Shi-bchar Highway police station Md Shakil Ahmed.

Partha and Ayon died on the spot, he added.

The injured person was sent to Dhaka.
