Madrasah student killed in Laxmipur wall collapse

LAXMIPUR, Aug 18 (BSS): A Madrasah student was killed when a wall of an under-construction building collapsed on her at Aman Ullahpur area under Bangakhan union in Sadar upazila on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Shaheen Akhter, 14, a student of class eight and daughter of Shahjahan, a resident of the same area.

Officer-in-Charge of Laxmipur Sadar Police Station Md. Abdul Monnaf confirmed the incident, saying the eighth-grade student of a local madrasa died tragically after being crushed under the collapsed wall.
