Man dies after falling from tree in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, June 01 (BSS): A man died after falling from a plum tree on Sunday morning at Hijlia village in Charfaradi union under Pakundia upazila here in the district.

Police identified the deceased as Kajol Mia, 48, son of the late Mofiz Uddin of the same village.

According to locals and eyewitnesses, Kajol Mia had climbed the tree around 8:00am to pluck black plums. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell, sustaining critical injuries.

He was quickly rescued by locals and taken to the health complex, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
