Man hit by train dies at Khulna hospital

KHULNA, Apr 30 (UNB): A 45-year-old man who was injured being hit by a train in Daulatpur upazila of Khulna district on Wednesday morning died at a hospital.

The deceased was identified as Md Helal, a resident of Madhupur village in Terokhada upazila of the district, and worked at Hazrat Shah Chandrapuri Jute Mills Limited as Khalashi.

Witnesses said a speeding train hit the head and legs of Helal when he was crossing the rail tracks by Daulatpur Rail Station around 7:50am, leaving him injured.
