Mirsharai, Pabna road accidents kill two

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Mirsharai and Pabna districts on Wednesday, reports BSS

In Chattogram, a motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in the Nizampur College area under Mirsharai upazila here on Wednesday.

The deceased is Akthar Hossain, 40, son of Rabiul Hossain Robi, a resident of Maddhyom Wahedpur

village under Mirsharai upazila.

A goods-laden truck hit the motorbike as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving Akthar dead on the spot.

In Pabna, a pedestrian was killed in a road accident at the Panch Rasta intersection in the Ananta Bazar area here on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Lakhsman Kumar Das, 50, son of Surya Kanta Das of the Sripur area under Sadar upazila.

When Lakhsman was walking along the roadside, a bus hit him. He died on the spot.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.
