Muggers hack ex-RU student to death

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Oct 24: A former student of Philosophy department of Rajshahi University has been hacked to death in Savar under Dhaka district early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Mostafiz, a resident of Durgapur in Rajshahi. The muggers also took away the money which he was carrying with him.

Police recovered the body from Shimultala in Savar around 8am on Saturday after getting a call from the locals.

An ATM card and an identity card of Rajshahi University was recovered lying next to the body.

Locals suspect miscreants swooped on the victim after getting off from a bus.
