Neighbour chops one to death

MAGURA, Oct 28 (BSS): A man was chopped to death by his neighbor at Tupipara village in Sreepur Upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Shamim Khan, 35, hailed from the village.

Police said Shamim got engaged with an argument with one of his neighbours Monirul Islam. At one stage Monirul hit Shamim with a sharp weapon. After the incident, Shamim was admitted to Magura 250-bed hospital where he died within a few minutes.

Police arrested Monirul Islam.
