One held with 1,187 bottles of phensedyl in Jhenaidah

KHULNA, Dec 07 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) of Khulna-6 on Saturday arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 1,187 bottles of phensedyl syrup from Jhenaidah district.

A team of the RAB-6 went in a drive in the wee hours on saturday at Mobarakganj area under Kaliganj Police Station in Jhenaidah.

During the drive, the RAB team arrested drug peddler Md Babul, son of late Zohor Ali of Jadabpur village, while he was trying to flee from the scene sensing the presence of the RAB men, said a RAB press release.
