Police recover slaughtered body of minor girl

SIRAJGANJ, Dec 26 (UNB): Police recovered a slaughtered body of a minor girl from a canal of the Jamuna river in Bera Khaduya village under Belkuchi upazila on Tuesday morning.
Sazzad Hossain, officer-in-charge of Belkuchi Police Station, said that Chaina Khatun, 11, daughter of Jahirul Islam, went missing on Monday evening from her house.
Later, locals spotted her body at the canal around 10 am.
On information, police recovered the body and handed it over to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.
A case was filed.
