Police recover two bodies in two dists

SIRAJGANJ, Feb 20 (UNB): Police recovered a hanging body of a school teacher from Garadaha bridge area in Shahjadpur upazila on Tuesday, two days after he reportedly went missing.

The deceased was identified as Khandakar Nazrul Islam Babul, 52, son of Khandakar Nazabot Ali of Nolsondha village of Ullapara upazila and a teacher of Makorkola Government Primary School in Shahjadpur upazila.

On information, police recovered the body hanged with the railing of the bridge in the morning, the SI added.

Police also recovered a note from the spot where he reportedly wrote that he committed suicide as he failed to pay his debt.

The body was sent to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, the SI said.

Meanwhile, Brahmanbaria, a newly-married housewife was found hanging at Hirapur village in Akhaura upazila on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Jonaki Akhter, 20, wife of Kazi Palash, a resident of the village in Dakhshin union.
