Poush Mela begins in Bogra

BOGRA, Dec 19 (BSS): A five-day long Poush Mela and Bijoy Utsab organised by Banglar Mukh began in the town on Tuesday.

President of district Awami League Momtaj Uddin inaugurated the Mela this afternoon at Shahid Khakon Shishu Park.

A function was held on the occasion. District president of Banglar Mukh Hasibul Hassan Moon presided over the function while Police Super Asaduzzaman BPM attended as the chief guest. District council chairman Mokbul Hossain took part the function as the special guest.

A total of 42 stalls have been set up at the fair that drew the history of Bogra. The fair will continue till December 23.
