Road crash kills two in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, Jan 22 (BSS): Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Adampur area under Kendua upazila of the district on Monday.

The deceased are identified as Anju Mia, 52, of Pachar village in Kendua upazila and Aminul, 52, a resident of Suthiarpar area under Modan upazila in the district.

Officer-in-Charge of Kendua police station Sirajul Islam said the accident took place in the area when a bus hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw from opposite direction, leaving two auto rickshaw passengers dead on the spot and three others injured.

The injured were sent to Kendua upazila health complex.
