Schoolboy found dead in Comilla

COMILLA, Oct 13 (UNB): Police on Monday morning recovered the body of a schoolboy from a paddy field at Laxmipur village in Chandina Upazila.

The deceased was identified as Ismail Hossain, 14, a class VIII student of Joag Ahmadia High School of the upazila and son of Abul Hossain of the village.

Family members said Ismail remained went missing after he went to watch Brasil-Argentina friendly football match on television in a teashop near his home on Saturday evening with friends.

Local farmers found the body of Ismail in the field while working in the morning and informed police.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Golam Morshed, officer-in-charge of Chandina Police Station, confirmed the incident.
