Shaistaganj road crash kills man

HABIGANJ, Dec 24 (BSS): A man was killed as a motorcycle hit him in Shaistaganj upazila of the district on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Vinraj Mia, 55, was a resident at Biram Char village of the upazila.

Local people said the accident took place noon when Vinraj was crossing a road at Shaistaganj Municipal Bazar. He was admitted to Habiganj Adhunik Sadar Hospital but the duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Shaistaganj Thana Md Nazim Uddin confirmed the incident of death.
