Three held, six dredgers seized over illegal sand extraction in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, June 22 (UNB): Three people were detained with six dredgers during a joint operation in the Arial Khan River in Faridpur district on Saturday night.
Officer-in-charge of Bhanga Police Station Ashraf Hossain said on information of illegal sand extraction from the river in Bhanga and Sadar upazilas the operation led by executive magistrate Fazle Rabbi was carried out from 11:30pm to 6am.
