Two killed in separate train accidents in Natore

NATORE, Nov 01 (BSS): Two people were crushed under trains in separate incidents in Sadar and Lalpur upazilas of the district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as- Jewel, 30 and Askan Ali, 55.

Natore Railway Station Master Ashok Chakraborty said Jewel committed suicide by jumping under a train in Amhati area of Sadar upazila at around 2.00pm.

Besides, Askan was killed when he was hit by a train in Islampur Baora Bridge area of Lalpur upazila at around 10:30 am, the station master said.

Railway Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue.

Two separate cases were filed with Santahar Railway Police Station in these regards.
