Wife, two others get life-term for killing husband

SYLHET, Nov 28 (bdnews24.com): A Sylhet court has sentenced three people, including the wife of the victim and her "fiancé", to death for the murder of a man in the tourist centre of Jaflong.

Judge Shaila Sharmin of the Sylhet Additional District and Sessions Judge's Court-4 delivered the verdict in the case in the presence of the suspects on Thursday, according to the court's Additional Public Prosecutor Md Jalal Uddin.

The death row convicts have been identified as Khushnahar Begum, 22, from Kishoreganj's Nikli, Mahmudul Hasan, 22, and Nadim Ahmed Naim, 20.
