Woman killed in Kurigram road accident

KURIGRAM, Oct 13 (BSS): A woman was killed and 15 others were injured in a road accident at Chinai bazaar on the Kurigram-Rangpur highway under Razarhat upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was Fatema Begum, 55.
Police said the accident occurred when a bus hit a battery run auto rickshaw from opposite direction in the area at about 10 am, leaving Fatema dead on the spot and 15 others injured.
The injured were sent to Kurigram Sadar Hospital and Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
