Youth jailed for illegal entry into SSC exam centre in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Apr 21 (UNB): A mobile court on Monday sentenced a youth to jail and fined him for illegally entering an SSC exam centre, and taking photos of the question paper in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi.
Moreover, a female examinee was expelled from another centre for cheating during the exam.
Obaidullah, 19, was punished for scaling the boundary wall of Raipura Government College exam centre and taking photos of the mathematics question paper.
He was immediately detained and produced before a mobile court, which handed him a one-month jail sentence plus a fine of Tk 500. Raipura Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Masud Rana conducted the mobile court.
On the same day, a student named Ishrat Jahan was expelled from Fakhrul Alam Arman High School centre for taking unfair means during the exam.
She was appearing in this year's SSC exams from Adiabad Government High School.
