Bank branch needed at Kharshu

Kharshu bus stand area, under Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj, is located just 22 kilometres away from the capital Dhaka, and serves as a busy transportation hub. There are also 15 surrounding villages, many of which have a significant number of expatriates, business owners, and well-off individuals. But there is no nearby bank branch in this area.

Currently, the residents of Kharshu and nearby areas have to travel approximately 5 to 7 kilometres to access banking services for deposits or withdrawals, which presents significant challenges and risks. Additionally, there is only one ATM in the area, but it is frequently out of service, leaving account holders with limited options.

If a bank branch set up here it would be great benefit for local communities. This would not only provide easier access to banking services but also reduce the risks associated with long-distance travel for financial transactions.

I kindly request the authorities concerned to consider setting up a bank branch at the Kharshu Bus Stand so that residents can access banking services conveniently and securely.
