Deferring JSC, JDC exams

I think deferring the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams from November 04 to this weekend was a good decision by the government. Otherwise the traffic congestion caused by vehicles further aggravated by the arrival of attendees at the 'Shokrana Mehfil' held at the Suhrawardy Udyan on the day would have made commuting very difficult for citizens of Dhaka on that day.

Even without any programmes, Dhaka faces regular traffic congestion. So, almost everyone was bracing for a gridlock on November 04. But that did not occur as was feared as there were less private vehicles on the roads.

However, the examination date was announced earlier. One wonders whether the organisers of the 'Shokrana Mehfil' were aware of this.
