Demise of a great comedian

Renowned comedian and actor Abdus Samad, popularly known as Tele Samad, breathed his last at the Square Hospital on April 6, 2019 at the age of 74. He enthralled the audiences with his unique brand of comedy. People were shocked to learn the news of his demise.
Tele Samad made his debut on the big screen in the film 'Kar Bou'. He acted in over 600 films in the last four decades. He made his last appearance in the 2015 film 'Zero Degree'.
Despite being known for his comedic talents, Samad has also performed as a singer in over 40 films. He composed the music for the film 'Mona Pagla'.
He is the best known for his work in 'Mona Pagla' (1984), 'Ondho Prem' (1993) and 'Moina Moti' (1969).
He was a celebrated personality and a great comedian, actor and above all a great human being. Most of his comedian roles are fresh in our childhood memory. He is no more with us but his performances will stay long in our memory.
