Donating blood in Ramadan

JUST two days ago, I accompanied one of my friends while donating blood in the lab of Quantum Foundation. I was horrified to see that lots of people were anxiously waiting to collect blood from the lab as they had emergency patients who were badly in need of blood. I could clearly understand that donors are grossly insignificant compared to the number of patients needing blood. In the holy month of Ramadan, demand for blood increases further. Any person can donate blood after every four months and help save many lives. Let's keep one thing in mind that the blood donors are the real heroes.
