Eliminate discrimination in service delivery
May 06, 2025 00:00:00
The administration is the driving force of a state upholding the people's trust and justice. It's primary duty is to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all citizens without prejudice. Unfortunately, discrimination and favouritism are still evident at various levels of the administration. While some regions witness swift implementation of development projects, others suffer prolonged neglect. Complaints from ordinary citizens are often overlooked, whereas requests from influential individuals are promptly addressed. When merit is sidelined and political connections or financial influence determines recruitment, promotion, and access to privileges, talented and deserving individuals are left disheartened, severely damaging administrative efficiency. Consequently, public trust in the administration erodes, and social inequalities deepen. Therefore, building a fair, efficient, and merit-based administrative system demands the complete eradication of discriminatory practices.
The administration must truly act as a servant of the people, ensuring that every citizen enjoys equal dignity, justice, and opportunities.
