People nowadays spend hour after hour on their smartphones. This is particularly common among young people, who are spending most of their time scrolling through their social media feeds instead of educating themselves through books. Consequently, they are both physically and mentally exhausted because of which they are not motivated enough to study or participate in extracurricular activities. The youth is no longer interested in pursuing goals and passions that do not involve the use of technology.
The youth must realise that using mobile phones will only provide them with instant gratification. They will eventually lack the skills and knowledge required to function in society. It is important that we encourage the youth to engage in different physical activities so that they may focus on the things that really matter.
