Ensuring peace of mind, health through Yoga

Yoga is gradually gaining popularity in Bangladesh. It is a set of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in ancient India. It is a slow and relaxing workout that helps people to stay healthy and calm. Yoga has many health benefits. It improves flexibility, builds muscle strength, perfects posture, protects spine, increases blood flow, drops blood pressure and more. Yoga also teaches people to focus on the present.
Studies have found that regular Yoga practice improves coordination, reaction time, memory, and IQ. There are many yoga centres in Dhaka that teach the basics. People can also learn from YouTube videos.
I like Yoga myself as it is a very relaxing exercise. One cannot control what goes on outside. But he or she can control his or her inner thoughts and feelings, a process that can eventually help one to lead a calm life.
I am sure more and more people in Bangladesh will take up Yoga in the coming days.
