Evolution of online stores

In the morning, anyone living in a developed country can find a coffee delivered at his or her doorstep by an online shop. Usually the user would have to order the beverage beforehand. From beverages to food, groceries and even electronic items, everything can be found in the online stores now. The e-commerce sector in Bangladesh is gradually catching up with the rest of the world.
But how did this online business start? Online selling technically started around 1960s through the launch of SABRE by American Airlines. That was an online ticket-selling platform. When Amazon entered this market in 1996, the e-commerce landscape in the USA and other countries of the West changed phenomenally.
From books, groceries, clothing to food, car and drinks-everything can be found online today. Recently, an American start-up named Booster began taking online orders for gas. All the car owner has to do is order the gas online and mention where the car is parked. A truck carrying the gas will arrive at the spot, pump the ordered amount of gas into the car and leave.
It will be interesting to see what other goods and services will soon be available online.
