Good mentor-mentee relationship

A good mentor can make a real difference in one's career and life. Unfortunately, we don't see much mentoring these days for either some potential mentors are shaky or many mentees are unwilling to accept mentoring for sharing and advancing. A friendly relationship, which is most workable between the two, is largely missing.

Perhaps in Bangladesh today, certain conditions for successful mentoring, such as reciprocity, mutual respect and shared values, and honest feedback, are not prevailing. Again, proper mentoring could have contributed to making progress in society. It's time to rethink about the state of mentoring and start good practices in society for collective improvement.
