Greater health preparedness

The world was relieved to hear Pfizer's announcement that its vaccine has proved to be 90 per cent effective already. Other companies and a number of nations are carrying out research to develop the vaccine for Covid-19, which has shattered the world of the 21st century.

For countries like Bangladesh, it's important to take preparations for not only distribution of vaccines but also making the health system ready for using vaccines and providing people with quality services in the post-pandemic era. This crisis also shows that national research capability is essential to serve the people.
