Help street children in winter
November 11, 2024 00:00:00
Winter has already begun, and the number of street children in our country exceeds 5.0 million. During this season, the condition of these children becomes particularly dire. Homelessness, lack of warm clothing, and the harsh cold make them vulnerable to illness. It is common to see street children seeking warmth by inhaling hot steam on the side of the road. Their miserable condition stirs our conscience. Like all children, these street children have the right to live a beautiful, clean, and healthy life.
Our society is made up of various professional groups, and it is crucial for each of us to support street children as much as we can, especially during the winter. We can help by providing warm clothes and blankets for them. Offer of warm clothes can help alleviate their suffering during this harsh winter. Additionally, social organisations should play a key role in addressing the problems faced by street children. Effective measures should be taken for their permanent rehabilitation.
Helping street children will bring peace of mind and fulfil our shared responsibility to ease their suffering. Let us come together to improve their lives and ensure they have a better future.
