Incomplete Khilgaon Community Centre

DHAKA South City Corporation (DSCC) has been suffering from lack of community centres for long. Residents of the area cannot find a suitable place for family, social, cultural and religious gatherings. Around 2004-05 fiscal year, authorities had started construction of a community centre at Khilgaon residential area under Khilgoan Police Station. Only the structure of the community centre was constructed. The remaining work was not completed in the past 12 years due to unknown reasons. If the community centre is completed soon, it will help residents of the area to arrange wedding ceremonies, religious discussions, social and cultural functions and local exhibitions. I would like to urge the DSCC authority to complete the community centre as soon as possible.
