Jubok's clients still in the dark

It is indeed surprising that after cooperative society Jubok was closed nearly 12 years back, its clients are yet to get back their money. They have no idea if they will ever get these funds back. Some of them had paid from their savings and are now living a miserable life due to financial constraints.

Jubok had lured many people with promises of high profit. It swindled around Tk 25 billion from its clients. In 2010, the government formed two commissions to investigate into the incident and recover the money. Unfortunately, no progress has been made by these commissions. Also, there has been no recovery of the money.

Jubok is not the only company which has cheated the common people in such ways. There were many such organisations which swindled funds of people in this country. I hope the government will take necessary measures to help these people get back their hard-earned money.
