Leadership and corruption

Leaders use their power to get things done. Corruption happens when they misuse their power for private gains. When leaders are seen to encourage honest behaviour and treat all staff equally in the workplace, workers are more likely to perceive the workplace as honest, and follow suit.

Leaders must have the courage to tell the truth which may be very bitter sometimes. It is a leader's responsibility to implement ethics in workplace.
