Rapes run rampant

A number of rape incidents in recent times have sparked off widespread protests and official actions to address the situation. But surprisingly, more such incidents are taking place in different parts of the country, as media reports show. We need to ask why this is happening.

Have the perpetrators become reckless? Has it been such a deep-rooted crisis that nothing stops the criminal mind? Or, is the rate of incidents the same but these are only being reported? Therefore, the ongoing movement against rape and other barbaric acts should be more focused and constructive so that none can sabotage people's protests.
