Reflections of new lives
September 07, 2020 00:00:00
A popular Bangladeshi singer, Sabina Yasmin, has expressed her hope that the new generations would remember the songs of their generation. It's always good to build bridges between generations through cultural activities, literature and record-keeping of history.
However, the new generation of writers, lyricists, and playwrights would come up with new outputs based on new stories of lives in contemporary period. We often miss historic opportunities to reflect on society and as a result, people are deprived of scope to understand the contemporary society. We expect to see new bridges for future generations as well.
