Safety should be priority for Eid revellers

Every year during Eid-ul Azha, homebound travellers suffer due to traffic congestion partially caused by wayside makeshift markets for sacrificial animals.

One can only hope that this will not be the case this year. I hope that the law enforcers will ensure that cattle traders do not block roads and create problems for vehicular movement.

Homebound people should also not take any risks during the journey to their village homes and on the way back to the cities. They should remember that safety is more important. The commuters should not travel on the roof of buses or trains. A fatal accident can occur at any time in such cases.
