Sleep well and live well

NOBODY needs to be told about the value of sleeping well. But in our day-to-day busy life many of us are deprived of adequate sleep. Adequate sleep is necessary for a healthy body and mind. Many of us have a bad habit of refraining from regular sleep at nights and oversleep during the weekends, which does not compensate the damage done by not having enough sleep regularly.

We should not only prioritise regular sleep but also make sure that our children have regular sound sleep. Sleep also plays a healing role to repair the damages done to all organs of the body. On the other hand, sleep deficiency has a direct bearing on our blood pressure and aggravates other ailments. If we are having regular sleep problem, we should consult a doctor and also follow a lifestyle that facilitates sound sleep as chronic sleep deprivation brings serious health hazards.
