Subir Nandi will be missed

Legendary singer Subir Nandi breathed his last at a Singapore hospital on early Tuesday after suffering multiple heart attacks. He was also a great composer.

Subir Nandi was influenced by music of Pankaj Mullick, Kundan Lal Saigal, Sandhya Mukhopadhyay, and Manna Dey.

His musical career started in 1970s. His phenomenal work in the film 'Mahanayak' won him his first national film award in 1984. He went on to win four more national film awards during his career.

The singer will be missed by his fans.
