Taking care of animals during winter

When we feel cold, we put on a jacket. When a poor individual is cold, most kind-hearted people share their old jacket and warm clothes. But we hardly feel the same compassion for a cat or dog that is curled up due to the cold on the street. These animals face the worst temperatures especially during the night.

In such cases, we can help them by placing old damaged blankets, torn clothes and similar items on these. This way, they will feel some relief from the shivering winter temperatures.

We should remember that compassion towards all living beings is a virtue in all faiths.
