Taking measures against deforestation

Deforestation is one of the main environmental concerns worldwide. It includes cutting down, burning and destructing forests. Many researchers have suggested that deforestation may be the first link to a chain of environmental degradation that includes erosion, climatic changes, loss of biodiversity, and air pollution.

Deforestation could be gradually stopped if people would be more environmentally mindful. We must start participating in recycling programmes. The government must encourage reforestation, which is sought after the healing process. If preventive measures are not taken immediately to stop the effect of deforestation, we will be under the grip of a severe crisis.
