Threads across flyovers!

We first heard of such incidents taking place in Chattogram and now we see the same is happening in Dhaka. Threads are stretched from one side to another of the flyovers to create barriers for motorcyclists. They are often obstructed,sometimes their throats or fingers are cut. And the ones who set the 'nets' then come forward, and snatch away cell phone sets, money bags and other belongings.

The police, meanwhile, have been aware of such incidents and conducted several drives. Media reports said occurrence of a few more incidents. A journey by a motorbike is obviously risky and if such traps are set, any mishap may take place. However, motorcyclists are busy people engaged in important jobs in most cases.It is important that the police catch the gangsters engaged in such crimes and also address scope and causes of such crimes.
