Unfit vehicles on Dhaka streets

Due to unfit vehicles, many accidents are taking place. Usually when a drive against unfit vehicles is launched in the city, the owners of these vehicles keep them off the road, at least till the drive ends.

Dhaka is a grand example of a city suffering from traffic chaos. Commuting in Dhaka is a frustrating experience. Every year thousands of work hours are wasted because of traffic congestion. We should dedicate all-out efforts to change the situation.

The traffic authority should conduct drives against unfit vehicles more often. This will compel owners of unfit vehicles to repair their vehicles and make them fit. The government should also introduce more public buses to lessen the sufferings of the commuters so that they can move around with ease and comfort.

The more people can commute, the less time will be wasted on the streets.
