Use of quality tyres in vehicles

Good tyres are essential for safe driving. Various accidents occur due to low-quality tyres. All vehicle owners should use good quality tyres to avoid accidents. Several people were injured and killed due to tyre-related accident. In Bangladesh, at least 8,543 people were killed and 12,608 others were injured in 6,359 road crashes in 2024. Earlier in 2023, at least 7,902 people were killed and 10,372 others were injured in 6,261 road crashes. There is no clear data on bad tyres and there link to these accidents. But, in some cases, the use of low quality tyres played a role. To avoid becoming a part of these statistics, all vehicle owners should use good quality tyres.

Already various companies have brought good quality tyres to Bangladesh. They are trying to provide good quality tyres for this country's people and making people aware of the need to use good quality tyres. We want them to continue this effort, and the people of this country will use good quality tyres so that accidents will be reduced to the minimum. The tyre market is also growing. The current market size is around Tk 80 billion, according to a report in The Financial Express. We want more companies to improve this country's tyre industry. Different types of goods are transported through vehicles. These products are damaged due to accidents. So for the overall benefit, we all have to use good quality tyres.
