Who back Maleks?

How the driver named Abdul Malek who served the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), became owner of assets worth Tk 1.0 billion is now the talk of the town, especially after he was detained. Expressing surprise, some social media posts raised question about who might have backed him in amassing such a huge amount of money.After all, he was a class III employee. Now, question is if the patrons and collaborators would remain beyond the reach of the law.

Once there is a scam disclosed, some people jump on the alleged scamster. But later onwhen another instance of scam comes to light, they forget the previous one. All such corrupt elements including their patrons need to be brought to book to combat corruption in society. Civil society groups should continue campaigns against such corrupt practices so that there is a constant pressure on improving governance.
