Women's suffering while commuting

There are a few buses for female commuters, which are simply not sufficient. Even men have hard times while using public transport so we can easily understand the plight of women there. During the rush hours, bus drivers' assistants often refuse to allow women in. If the government introduces more women-only buses in the city, then their suffering would be reduced.

We see many women agonisingly waiting for public transport on the city streets in a densely populated city like ours. Unfortunately, the transport sector has been plagued by mismanagement and lack of proper planning. I hope steps will be taken to improve the overall public transport system so that women too can commute safely.
