Eighteen Vietnam-returned migrant workers, who were arrested by police under section 54, got bail on Saturday.
Besides, the remaining detainees are expected to get bail on Tuesday, said advocate Salma Sultan, programme officer at Bangladesh Manabadhikar Bastabayan Sangstha.
The rights group is providing legal aid for the detained workers in securing bail.
A total of 83 expatriates were nabbed after completing 14 days' quarantine on September 01 by Turag police.
Of them, 81 returned from Vietnam and two from Qatar.
Turag police station's sub-inspector Md Anwarul Islam produced them before a metropolitan magistrate, showing them arrested under section 54 of the criminal code.
Ms Sultan said the workers were victimised as they were trafficked to Vietnam.
Their arrests are unlawful, rather they should be given support from the government, she commented.
"The workers are the victims of rights violations at home. So, we're providing legal assistance to help free the helpless people."
About the Qatar-returned workers, Ms Sultan said, they were also victimised by human traffickers.
A section of manpower recruiters sent the workers to Vietnam with tourist visa with a promise of safe migration and jobs, said victims and their families.
Exploited by recruiting agents, the hapless migrants protested against employers and hirers, and also demanded their immediate repatriation. They were taken home by a chartered plane on August 18.
