Child succumbs to burn injury at DMCH

A minor girl who sustained burn injuries in a fire at a house in the city's Kalyanpur area died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital here on Thursday. The deceased is 11-month-old Afrida Akhter Fatema, daughter of M Abdul Malek. Four members M Abdul Malek, 35, his wife Rina Begum, 30, their daughter Afrida Akhter Fatema and Rina's sister Arju Begum, 28, suffered burn injuries in the fire incident on Wednesday night.
