DMP bans fireworks on Shab-e-Barat

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) imposed restrictions on the use of fireworks and carrying all types of explosives and crackers in the city on the occasion of holy Shab-e-Barat to be observed tonight (Sunday night). The ban has been enforced under the Section 28 of DMP Police Ordinance-1976 and will be applicable from 6.00 pm today (Sunday) to 6.00 am tomorrow (Monday). — BSS
